REMINDER: Workplace Injuries and Illnesses Report
Date postedJune 26, 2018
From SLMA's OSHA Counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend:
The OSHA Injury Tracking Application ("ITA") currently is accepting 2017 OSHA Form 300A injury and illness data. The deadline to submit 2017 OSHA Form 300A data is July 1, 2018. The OSHA Injury Tracking Application and additional information regarding the electronic reporting requirement are available at: https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/index.html.
OSHA recently announced that all employers who are covered by an OSHA-approved State Plan are required to submit their 2017 injury and illness data via the ITA, even if the applicable State Plan has not adopted a rule relating to electronic reporting. Employers covered under a State Plan must submit their data by July 1, 2018.
