SLMA Submits Comments on Lock-out/Tag-out Standards

Yesterday, SLMA joined the Council of Manufacturing Associations in submitting comments to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration regarding updates to Lock-out/Tag-out practices. The comments focus on how manufacturers utilize lock-out/tag-out procedures and the use of newer technologies, including control circuit devices and robotics. Thank you to the SLMA members that responded to the previously circulated survey that provided necessary information for the comments. The monthly SLMA Regulatory Update will continue to provide updates on the issue.
