Southern Timber Innovations Conference

The Southern Timber Innovations Conference will be held at the New Orleans Marriott, August 12-14, 2018. Mass timber is steadily on the rise in the Pacific Northwest and is quickly spreading to other parts of the country. Just recently, Atlanta and Arkansas announced mass timber projects cross laminated timber.

 

The goal of the Southern Timber Innovations Conference is to serve as a catalyst for the mass timber industry in the Southern United States. Speakers with diverse backgrounds will share their expertise in architecture, structural engineering, manufacturing and investing as it relates to mass timber in the Southeast. This meeting will provide attendees opportunities to network and share information with others who are already in the industry.

 

Sherry Mundell (WoodWorks), Eric Karsh (Equilibrium Consulting) and Keith Apton (UBS Financial) will be the general session speakers. Conference planners expect 150-300 attendees. Mill owners, architects, engineers, investors and many more will all be present.
